How talk therapy helps
Together we’ll look at what sets anxiety off, what keeps it going, and what you need. You’ll leave sessions with practical tools to use in daily life, drawn from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), DBT-informed skills, solutions-based, shame resilience, somatic, and narrative therapy.
How neurofeedback may help
Neurofeedback gives your brain real-time feedback as it moves toward steadier patterns. Over many sessions, it may help in a few ways.
Calming a high-alert nervous system
Practice shifting out of “fight or flight” so your baseline feels less on edge.
Steadier emotional responses
More room between a trigger and your reaction, so the skills from counseling are easier to reach for.
Better sleep
A quieter mind at night, which makes everything else during the day a little easier.
Working on anxiety together
I strongly recommend using both: talk therapy to understand and respond to anxiety, and neurofeedback to help your brain find calm more easily. Neurofeedback is included with counseling at no additional cost. Talk therapy on its own is always your choice.
Talk with HollyResults vary from person to person, and neurofeedback does not replace medical care. Never change a medication without talking to your prescriber.
